JELD-WEN Recognized as One of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies
Ranked as Top Non-Apparel Manufacturer in the State

Klamath Falls, Ore. February 01, 2008 — JELD-WEN inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of reliable windows and doors, was recently acknowledged by the Portland Business Journal for the second consecutive year as one of the Most Admired Companies in Oregon. They received third place in the Most Admired Traditional Manufacturers category, behind two apparel companies.

JELD-WEN, which has a substantial presence in many Oregon communities including Bend, received recognition as one of the top three traditional manufacturing companies in the state, as determined by a survey of more than 2,500 Oregon-based CEOs. Voters ranked each company based on characteristics such as innovation, product quality and community involvement.
