Low-E glass
High-performance Low-E insulating glass lowers energy costs, helps homes stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, prevents fading of interior furnishings, and reduces condensation. Windows and patio doors with Low-E glass are also ENERGY STAR® qualified, which means they exceed the minimum energy efficiency criteria for the climate region you live in (by as much as 40 percent).
LoĒ³-366 glass
This glass features three transparent, microscopic layers of silver placed between layers of anti-reflective metal oxide coatings. These coatings block 95 percent of harmful UV rays and reduce window heat gain by 64 percent. It exceeds ENERGY STAR requirements-even in Northern regions-and will lower energy costs by 35 percent.

LoĒ³-366 is a spectrally selective coating. It distinguishes between visible light, unwelcome UV and near infrared rays (NIR). The result is the ultimate in solar heat control, fading protection and visibility.

Dual Low-E
This feature is recommended for homes located at altitudes above 4,000 feet and requiring more energy efficiency than our standard Low-E glass. Since high-altitude glass units have capillary tubes to equalize the pressure between the panes of glass, they cannot retain gas fills such as argon. Instead of the added insulation of argon, Dual Low-E has a second, separate coating of Low-E on the interior side of the interior pane of glass. This dual protection helps retain even more heat inside the home.
