WEN-Lock

The WEN-Lock® is our optional exclusive automatic locking system. It features a slim profile that is easy to engage, as well as a tamper-resistant design. In fact, this lock has passed all forced-entry resistance tests. It also has a visible latch indicator (VLI) that lets you know if the window is locked. The VLI can be seen from the indoors only.

Window Opening Control Device
Limiting sash opening especially in upper floors, these optional factory-installed devices also meet ASTM F2090-10. Window opening control devices are one of many tools a homeowner can choose to prevent children from falling out of a window. There are a number of additional steps the consumer can do to prevent such accidents from occurring.

Popular flip-out vent stops limit sash opening to 4 inches, providing fractional ventilation on our windows. A nylon lever and housing allow quick and easy release when the vent stop flips open. The lever flips back with an easy push of the finger when not needed.
*Please note, secondary stops are not a locking feature.
Fiberglass Mesh
Our standard charcoal fiberglass mesh insect screens keep insects outside, while letting in natural light. The frames are available with colors to match the window color you choose.
*Insect screens are intended to allow air and light in, while keeping insects out. They are not intended to stop children from falling through an open window or door. For safety screens and other security devices, contact your local building supply retailer.

Integral Nailing Fin

For New Construction and Replacement. Our windows come standard with a 1-1/4" pre-punched nailing fin for easy installation into new construction applications. The nailing fin is integral to the frame. It surrounds the full perimeter of the frame and helps make installations weathertight. It is appropriate for homes with siding, stucco or brick exteriors.
Retrofit Brickmould Accessory
JELD-WEN’s Brickmould Accessory is ideal for replacement applications. Easy to install and easily matched to existing windows, the Brickmould Accessory acts as window trim, hiding the rough opening and raw edges around the window.
Block Frame

For New Construction and Replacement. A block frame if for a window with a frame that does not include a nail fin. Installation can be done simply and neatly without disturbing exterior siding, stucco, interior trim, paint or wallpaper. The block frame is ideal for new construction installation into concrete or masonry walls. This frame has the same inside and outside dimensions.
Flush Fin

For Replacement or Retrofit. Our flush fin option allows our windows to be installed from the exterior of a home into an existing window frame; the fin covers the old window frame. No need to cut back stucco or siding, refinish interior trim or replace blinds and window coverings. This provides a clean, energy efficient result.
Integral Brickmould

For New Construction. This window features an integral brickmould and nailing fin that creates a J-channel, allowing the siding to slip between the brickmould and nailing fin. This feature makes installation a breeze and produces a clean, streamlined appearance. This frame can be used in new construction applications and allows for faster, easier installations with more secure attachments.
TegraTite Installation

TegraTite® streamlines the installation process, making it easy to install a sill drainage system under vinyl windows. Our sill drain mat sits on the rough opening and directs any incidental water away from the wall, keeping it dry. Combine that with our new butyl-based adhesive flashing tape for a tighter, more energy efficient installation.
Stucco Key Frame

New Construction. We offer this frame option specifically for new construction homes using stucco. This frame option has features that help in finishing stucco around a window. The key provides a consistent finishing point, while also covering the gap that can result from stucco's expansion and contraction. The 1" fin setback finishes well with traditional 3-coat stucco.

Add architectural interest to your windows with our divided lite options. These options include simulated divided lites (SDL) for an authentic look. They feature grilles that are permanently attached to both the interior and exterior glass and optional shadow bars that are placed between the two panes of insulating glass to provide design detail.
Grilles are available in 7/8" widths in several grille patterns. These grilles are available in the color that matches the exterior color of the window you choose.

Add architectural interest to your windows with our divided lite options. Enjoy increased visual appeal and decreased maintenance with our grilles between the glass, which consist of a spacer bar placed between the panes of the insulating glass. They are an ideal choice because they require no upkeep and will not interfere with window cleaning.
We offer 5/8" or 7/8" flat grilles, as well as 5/8" or 1" contour grilles in several grille patterns. These grilles are available in the color that matches the exterior color of the window you choose.

Our standard high-performance Low-E insulating glass lowers energy costs, helps homes stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, reducing the fading of interior furnishings and condensation. It also delivers greater visible light transmittance than tinted glass.
We also offer optional LoĒ³-366 glass, which provides more protection against heat gain by blocking harmful infrared rays, as well as providing greater energy savings. These glass options are available with argon gas, which helps reduce conduction and consequent energy loss.
With Low-E or LoĒ³-366 glass, ENERGY STAR® qualified versions of this product are likely available. This means they meet or exceed the minimum energy efficiency criteria for your climate region. Our optional tinted glass is ideal for climates with intense sunlight. It reduces glare and visible light transmittance, while also keeping homes more comfortable in warm weather.
Optional clear glass consists of two panes of glass, sealed with an airspace and the perimeter of the unit is sealed. This option offers maximum visible light transmittance and superb energy efficiency in most climates.
Tempered

The tempered glass option provides extra strength, enabling it to withstand force or pressure on its surface and it will not break into sharp pieces. Local building codes often require tempered glass to be used in all windows that are close to the floor or near doors, bathtubs or showers.
Laminated glass option consists of panes of glass with an invisible interlayer, sandwiched together to create an extremely sturdy glass unit. This provides increased protection for home safety and from incidental impact; it also provides an improved barrier against sound and harmful UV rays.
Neat

With the Neat® glass option, you gain natural cleaning convenience. By harnessing the sun’s UV rays (even when the sky is cloudy) to loosen dirt from the glass, rainwater can easily rinse away grime. No manual activation is required.
SoundMaster

Evertone
EverTone™ combines color pigments with bonding agents under heat and pressure to permanently adhere the finish to the vinyl window. Cohesion rather than adhesion results in a finish that reflects heat and ultraviolet light far better than traditional coated finishes.
Our windows with EverTone will retain their exterior color, gloss and finish for years to come. Due to the unique chemical makeup of EverTone, infrared rays are reflected. EverTone vinyl windows show minimal heat gain over white windows.
