JELD-WEN® Authentic Wood Doors are constructed with beauty in mind and lasting performance at heart. Traditionally, wood doors were made using stile and rail components machined out of solid lumber. Wood is a living organism that expands and contracts based on changes in temperature and humidity, and the bigger the piece, the more it moves. Many older wood doors show signs of these “changes” with warped stiles or split panels. JELD-WEN Authentic Wood Doors feature an “engineered” core construction with premium wood veneers on top for the best performance and stain finish quality, as well as matching solid wood sticking and edgebands for an even stain match.

Hinges
Our 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" interior hinges are available in three different finishes, so you can choose one to match or complement the other hardware for your door.
Casings
Our casing selection allows you to choose the perfect interior door trim for your home’s architectural style. We offer a range of sizes in three general styles. All casing options will match the wood option chosen for your door.
Casings are available in 2-1/4" Colonial (left), 3-1/4" Colonial (middle) and 2-1/4" Flat or Craftsman (right).
Interior Door System
All Authentic wood doors are available with our prehanging option. This comprehensive package ensures the smoothest installation of your door. Every part is carefully fashioned to achieve a correct fit. With this system, you can be confident that your installation will be hassle-free and your new door will offer unparalleled performance. This complete package includes hinges and interior casings.
Interior door frames are available in matching wood species to your interior door. Pine and Knotty Alder frames utilize a solid frame construction. Jambs are available in widths of 4-9/16" and 6-9/16".
Sustainable pine is harvested from plantation forests. It is a softwood with a distinct pinstripe grain pattern and a uniform color. The wood will darken and yellow with age, adding character and charm. It machines to a fine, smooth finish and easily accepts lighter stains and paint. Staining is recommended to achieve a uniform appearance because pine naturally contains resins that can affect penetration. Knots should be sealed before painting.
Primed doors are white in color and feature a smooth finish that is ready to paint.
