- Wood decay-Achieved highest performance levels as measured by WDMA industry standard 4: Water-Repellent preservative non-pressure treatment for millwork
- Water saturation-Far exceeded the requirements of WDMA IS-4, T.M. 2 Swellometer Test as measured by anti-swelling efficiency
- Termites-Tested to the highest levels of performance as measured by AWPA E1-97 standard method for laboratory evaluation to determine resistance to subterranean termites

When AuraLast wood was initially developed, a test house was built in tropical conditions using traditional
building materials and wood windows made from AuraLast wood. After six months, this test house showed
preliminary signs of termite infestation and wood decay. More than a year later the house was destroyed, except for the windows made with AuraLast wood.
